“PERATURAN  SEKOLAH”

     “Disiplin  adalah salah satu contoh hal untuk mengikuti peraturan-peraturan yang ada di sekolah. Dengan disiplin-Nya waktu, para siswa akan menyadari betapa pentingnya waktu di sekolah.”

    “Saya sebagai siswa, saya tau disiplin itu bukanlah hal main-main. Mencoba disiplin itu harus dengan perilaku yang baik, agar kita juga bisa mencontohkan kepada teman-teman yang lain . Tapi semuanya hanya  tergantung  dari siswa-siswi itu sendiri, karena kami pernah diajarkan disiplin, tata krama dan etika.”

    “Dilain sisi saya sedikit berbincang dengan salah satu guru pengajar di sekolah saya !”

 Saya  : “Apakah sisiplin itu bisa di langgar!

             Menurut bapak/ibu guru bagaimana ??”

Guru  : “Sebenarnya disiplin itu tidak boleh dilanggar,

             Tetapi kalian para siswa-siswi nya saja yang

              Melanggar-nya.”

Saya   : “Terus bagaimana, agar siswa-siswi tidak

                Melanggar-nya ??”

Guru  : “Kami sebagai guru tegaskan, bahwa disiplin itu

                Sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi siswa-siswi di

                Sekolah, dan telah menjadi satu ketetapan.

                Caranya; agar siswa harus membiasakan diri

                Untuk belajar disiplin di dalam sekolah

                maupun di luar sekolah, siswa-siswi bisa

                 menaati dan mengikuti peraturan-peraturan

                 yang berlaku di sekolah.”

Saya    : “Oh, begitu yah !”

Guru   :  “Ya, seperti itu.”

Saya    : “Terus, apalagi contoh peraturan yang ada di

                 Sekolah ??”

Guru   : “Salah satu contoh adalah datang ke sekolah

                Tepat pada waktu-nya, dan bagi siswa yang

                Datang terlambat, kurang dari lima belas

                 Menit harus melapor kepada guru piket,

                 Dan di izinkan masuk kelas.”

Saya    : “Kalau begitu, terima kasih yah bapak/ibu

                Guru atas informasinya.”

Guru   : “Ya, sama-sama.”

    “Setelah saya dan ibu guru berbincang, di lain sisi sebagian dari guru-guru di sekolah telah mengajarkan banyak, tentang bagaimana cara menaati aturan-aturan yang ada di sekolah. Tetapi seringkali siswa lain tidak mendengarkan apa yang guru katakan.”

     “Tentang tata krama dan tata tertib di sekolah, dalam bersikap, bertingka laku, dan sekaligus bertindak untuk melaksanakan kegiatan sehari-hari di sekolah.”

     “Menurut saya berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang bisa di ambil dilingkungan sekolah adalah sebagai berikut ;

-Nilai ketakwaaan

-Sopan-santun pergaulan

-Ke disiplinan dan ketertiban

-Kebersihan

-kerapian dan kesehatan, dan

-Menjaga keamanan di lingkungan sekolah.”

     “Cerpan yang saya buat tentang bagaimana keadaan ke didiplinan, tata krama, dan etika yang ada di sekolah saya. Saya pun masih teringat pada waktu masa orientasi siswa, atau MOS, kami pernah diajarkan sopan-santun dalam pergaulan di lingkungan sekolah.”

     “Pertama, menghormati sesama siswa, menghargai perbedaan agama yang dianut dan latar belakang sosial budaya yang di miliki oleh masing-masing teman baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah.”

     “Kemudian etika, cara berpakaian, dan kerapian, di lain sisi saya juga berpendapat sikap positif yang ada di sekolah saya. Taat dan patuh terhadap tata tertib, ikut melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan osis, dan mengmbangkan sikap rasipnal. Dengan sikap ini, para siswa akan mulai berani menunjukkan ke disiplinan, dan etika di sekolah.”

     “Di smp saya juga memiliki fasilitas yang memadai, beserta guru-guru yang ketat, baik dan pastinya di siplin. Saya bangga sekolah di smp saya, dengan etika yang  terjamin, dan pelangaran yang bisa di tanangi.”

     “Sekolah saya juga penuh dengan perlengkapan, fasilitas-fasilitas, ruangan perpustakaan, kelas per-kelas, Laboratorium, dan lain-lain.”

      “Tata krama yang diajarkan kepada kami, penuh dengan tanggung jawab  (BK) Bimbingan konseling, agar dapat mengajarkan siswa bagaimana cara untuk menyadari setiap kelakuan atau perilaku kita sebagai siswa-siswi di sekolah.”

     “Cara agar siswa-siswi dapat mengikuti aturan adalah dengan membiasakan diri untuk belajar di rumah, agar bisa terbiasa sampai kesekolah. Kalaupun dari rumah mereka terbiasa dengan tidak disiplin. Danb berkata tidak bagus, sampai kesekolah akan membawah semuanya.”

     “Disiplin yang satu ini juga sangat penting, pada saat sisw

a pulang sekolah di wajibkan langsung meninggalkan sekolah menuju ke rumah. Kecuali bagi siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstra atau kegiatan sekolah lainnya.”

     “Maka dari itu, saya sebagai siswa saya akan mulai  belajar bagaimana cara untuk belajar disiplin di luar sekolah, maupun di luar sekolah.”

  The Gingerbread Man

Once upon a time, an old woman and her husband lived alone in a little old house. The couple had no children, and being lonely, the woman decided to make a boy of gingerbread. She carefully mixed the batter, rolled out the dough, and cut out out a very nice gingerbread man. She added sugar icing for his hair, mouth, and clothes, and she used candy chips for buttons and eyes. What a fine looking gingerbread man he was! The old woman put him in the oven to bake. After he was fully done, she slowly opened the oven door. Up jumped the gingerbread man, and he ran out the door saying,

"Run, run, as fast as you can!

You can't catch me!

I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

The old woman and the old man ran after him, but they could not catch him.

And so the Gingerbread Man ran and ran. While he running, he met a cow.

"Moo," said the cow. "You look very fine! Fine enough to eat!" And the cow started to chase to little man.

But the Gingerbread Man ran faster, saying,

"I ran away from an old woman,

I ran away from an old man,

And I can run away from you!

I can!"

And he laughed,

"Run, run, as fast as you can!

You can't catch me!

I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

The cow ran after the Gingerbread Man, but she could not catch him.

The Gingerbread Man kept running, and soon he met a horse.

"Neigh," said the horse, "You look mighty tasty. I think that I would like to eat you."

"But you can't!" said the Gingerbread Man.

"I ran away from an old woman,

I ran away from an old man,

I ran away from a cow,

And I can run away from you!

I can!"

And so he ran singing,

"Run, run, as fast as you can!

You can't catch me!

I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

The horse ran after the Gingerbread Man, but he could not catch him.

The Gingerbread Man ran and ran, laughing and singing. While he ran, he met a chicken.

"Cackle, cackle," said the chicken, "You look fine enough to peck for dinner. I'm going to eat you, Mr. Gingerbread Man."

But the Gingerbread Man just laughed.

"I ran away from an old woman,

I ran away from an old man,

I ran away from a cow,

I ran away from a horse,

And I can run away from you!

I can!"

And so he ran singing,

"Run, run, as fast as you can!

The Gingerbread Man was proud that he could run so fast.

"Nobody can catch me," he thought. So he kept on running until he met a fox.

He just had to tell the fox how he ran faster than all the others.

"Mr. Fox," he said,

"As tasty as I appear to be,

I cannot let you catch and eat me.

I ran away from an old woman,

I ran away from an old man,

I ran away from a cow,

I ran away from a horse,

I ran away from a chicken,

And I can run away from you!

I can!"

But Mr. Fox did not seem to care.

"Why would I want to bother you?" asked Mr. Fox. "You don't even look that tasty. No, young man, I don't want to eat you at all."

The Gingerbread Man was so relieved.

"Well, indeed, Mr. Fox," said the Gingerbread Man. "If you don't mind, I think I'll take a little rest here." And the Gingerbread Man stopped running and stood still.

And right when he stood still. Snap! went Mr. Fox's jaws right into the Gingerbread Man until he was gone.

"He was very tasty after all," thought the fox.

 The Tortoise and the Hare 

The Hare was once boasting of his speed before the other animals. "I have never yet been beaten," said he, "when I put forth my full speed. I challenge any one here to race with me."

The Tortoise said quietly, "I accept your challenge."

"That is a good joke," said the Hare; "I could dance round you all the way."

"Keep your boasting till you've won," answered the Tortoise. "Shall we race?"

So a course was fixed and a start was made. The Hare darted almost out of sight at once, but soon stopped and, to show his contempt for the Tortoise, lay down to have a nap. The Tortoise plodded on and plodded on, and when the Hare awoke from his nap, he saw the Tortoise just near the winning-post and could not run up in time to save the race.

Then the Tortoise said: "Slow but steady progress wins the race."

  The Princess and the Pea

Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough, but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should be. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a real princess.

One evening a terrible storm came on; there was thunder and lightning, and the rain poured down in torrents. Suddenly a knocking was heard at the city gate, and the old king went to open it.

It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess.

Well, we'll soon find that out, thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.

On this the princess had to lie all night. In the morning she was asked how she had slept.

"Oh, very badly!" said she. "I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It's horrible!"

Now they knew that she was a real princess because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds 

Nobody but a real princess could be as sensitive as that.

So the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess; and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still be seen, if no one has stolen it.

Sangkuriang

    Long time ago in West Java, lived a beautiful girl named Dayang Sumbi. She was also smart and clever. Her beauty and intelligence made a prince from the heavenly kingdom of Kahyangan desire her as his wife. The prince asked permission from his father to marry Dayang Sumbi. People from Kahyangan could never live side by side with humans, but his father approved on one condition, when they had a child, the prince would transform into a dog. The prince accepted the condition. They get married and lived happily in the woods until Dayang Sumbi gave birth to a baby boy. The prince then changed into a dog named Tumang. Their son is named Sangkuriang. He was very smart and handsome like his father. Everyday, he hunted animals and looked for fruits to eat. One day, when he was hunting, Sangkuriang accidentally killed Tumang. His arrow missed the deer he was targeting and hit Tumang instead. He went home and tells her mother about the dog. “What?” Dayang Sumbi was appalled. Driven by sadness and anger, she grabbed a weaving tool and hit Sangkuriang’s head with it. Dayang Sumbi was so sad; she didn’t pay any attention to Sangkuriang and started to cry. Sangkuriang feel sad and also confused. How can his mother love a dog more than him? Sangkuriang then decided to go away from their home and went on a journey. In the morning, Dayang Sumbi finally stopped crying. She started to feel better, so she went to find Sangkuriang. But her son was no where to be found. She looked everywhere but still couldn’t find him. Finally, she went home with nothing. She was exhausted. She fell asleep, and in her dream, she meets her husband. “Dayang Sumbi, don’t be sad. Go look for my body in the woods and get the heart. Soak it with water, and use the water to bathe, and you will look young forever,” said the prince in her dream. After bathing with the water used to soak the dog’s heart, Dayang Sumbi looked more beautiful and even younger. And time passed by. Sangkuriang on his journey stopped at a village and met and fell in love with a beautiful girl.He didn’t realize that the village was his homeland and the beautiful girl was his own mother, Dayang Sumbi. Their love grew naturally and he asked the girl to marry him. One day, Sangkuriang was going on a hunt. He asked Dayang Sumbi to fix the turban on his head. Dayang Sumbi was startled when she saw a scar on his head at the same place where she, years ago, hit Sangkuriang on the head. After the young man left, Dayang Sumbi prayed for guidance. After praying, she became convinced that the young man was indeed her missing son. She realized that she had to do something to prevent Sangkuriang from marrying her. But she did not wish to disappoint him by cancelling the wedding. So, although she agreed to marry Sangkuriang, she would do so only on the condition that he provides her with a lake and built a beautiful boat, all in one night. Sangkuriang accepted this condition without a doubt. He had spent his youth studying magical arts. After the sun went down, Sangkuriang went to the hill. Then he called a group of genie to build a dam around Citarum River. Then, he commands the genies to cut down trees and build a boat. A few moments before dawn, Sangkuriang and his genie servants almost finished the boat. Dayang Sumbi, who had been spying on him, realised that Sangkuriang would fulfill the condition she had set. Dayang Sumbi immediately woke all the women in the village and asked them to wave a long red scarf. All the women in the village were waving red scarf, making it look as if dawn was breaking. Deceived by false dawn, the cock crowed and farmers rose for the new day. Sangkuriang’s genie servants immediately dropped their work and ran for cover from the sun, which they feared. Sangkuriang grew furious. With all his anger, he kicked the unfinished boat. The boat flew and landed on a valley. The boat then became a mountain, called Mount Tangkuban Perahu (Tangkuban means upturned or upside down, and Perahu means boat). With his power, he destroyed the dam. The water drained from the lake becoming a wide plain and nowadays became a city called Bandung (from the word Bendung, which means Dam).
